Freelancers will be able to receive foreign payments straight into their local bank accounts thanks to the technology, which will eliminate expensive fees and lengthy waits.
Thousands of independent contractors who work on websites like Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer.com are anticipated to gain from this change. Additionally, the system is made to support remote workers and IT specialists nationwide.
According to officials, the objective is to facilitate online income generation for young people and strengthen Pakistan's digital economy. The modification was well received by freelancers,who hailed it as a significant advancement.
More information will be released soon, and the platform is anticipated to launch later this month.
